 Punjab Government Adjusts School Timings for Summer, Prioritizing Student Safety

In a move to protect school children from the scorching hot weather, the Punjab government has adjusted the timings for regular classes in schools for the summer season.

According to a notification from the provincial education department, schools in Punjab will now operate from 7:45 am to 1:15 pm, with regular classes concluding at 11:45 am on Fridays.

Additionally, double-shift schools will be open from 7:45 am to 12:15 pm and from 12:45 pm to 5:15 pm across the province.

These adjustments aim to prioritize the safety and well-being of students amid prevailing weather conditions, as well as considerations for law and order.
