PTI Open to Conditional Talks with PML-N-Led Government

In Islamabad, Opposition Leader in the Senate, Shibli Faraz, asserted on Friday that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) stands prepared for conditional talks with the Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) led coalition government.

In an informal discussion with the media, Shibli Faraz conveyed the party’s willingness to engage in dialogue with any party, including the federal government, for the betterment of Pakistan. However, he underscored the necessity for the government to create a conducive environment for such talks.

Faraz emphasized the importance of withdrawing political cases and ensuring the upholding of the rule of law and the constitution. He specifically called for the release of PTI founder Imran Khan, women, and other political prisoners. Nonetheless, he stressed that genuine legal cases should continue to be pursued.

The statement from the PTI representative signals a potential opening for dialogue amidst the political landscape, provided certain conditions are met to ensure fairness and transparency.
