This meethi seviyan recipe should be in the cook book of everyone who loves sweet dishes. Meethi Seviyan is a type of dry seviyan recipe that you can enjoy on Eid or any other festival.

Made with easily available ingredients such as vermicelli, condensed milk, raisins, ghee, green cardamom, khoya etc., this meethi seviyan recipe is heaven in every bite.

Ingredients of Mithi Seviyan

2 cup vermicelli
1 cup condensed milk
1 cup milk
1/4 cup pistachios
1/4 cup chopped almonds
1 tablespoon ghee
50 gm khoya
1 teaspoon powdered green cardamom
3 tablespoon raisins

How to make Mithi Seviyan
Step 1 Roast seviyan or vermicelli in ghee
Heat the ghee in a deep bottomed pan. Add the eid seviyan and roast till fragrant and golden brown. Keep the flame low. Once done, remove from heat and keep aside.

Step 2 Boil milk and dissolve sugar in it
Boil milk in a pan. Add the chopped nuts and cook for 2-3 minutes. Add sugar and allow it to dissolve. Now put in the condensed milk and cook on low flame till it mixes well with the milk.

Step 3 Add seviyan in the milk and cook until completely dry
Finely grate the khoya and add it to the milk. Cook till the mixture thickens. Add the seviyan and cook for another 5 minutes or till no liquid remains. Add the powdered cardamom and mix well. You must always add cardamom towards the end or it may lose the fragrance due to heat. Decorate with chopped nuts and serve cold or hot. Enjoy!
