 Two killed, five injured in Kurram landmine explosion

A landmine explosion on Korham road in central Kurram has resulted in the death of at least two people, with five others injured, four of whom are in critical condition.

Rescue Efforts

1122 rescue officials have shifted the dead bodies and injured to a nearby hospital in kurrum, providing medical attention to those affected.

Earlier Blast in Dera Ismail Khan

In a separate incident, a blast in Tehsil Kulachi, Dera Ismail Khan, injured two individuals, including a police constable. The explosion occurred as the DSP and other police personnel were on their way for polio duty.

Bomb Disposal Squad Deployed

A bomb disposal squad was dispatched to the scene, examining the situation and providing assistance.

Twin Landmine Blasts in Balochistan

Prior to these incidents, twin landmine blasts near Thaikedar Naddi in Duki district of Balochistan resulted in one fatality and 20 injuries. A truck hit a landmine, followed by a second blast as people gathered at the scene.

Casualties and Injuries

Police officials confirmed that both landmine blasts resulted in the killing of one citizen, with 17 others sustaining injuries. The injured are being transported to nearby hospitals for medical attention.
