Islamabad, 10June: TikTok app, has officially launched the #TikTokGaGa campaign calling out for all emerging singers and music enthusiasts in Pakistan to come and showcase their talent to the world.

TikTokGaGa campaign launched on May 24, 2021 and is scheduled to conclude by July 15, 2021.

Through #TikTokGaGa, the TikTok community in Pakistan will be granted an exclusive opportunity to share the stage/screen (quite literally) with their favourite music stars.

They are encouraged to sing along to their favourite songs with celebrities and post their original or cover songs.

The campaign is an ideal platform for those looking to share their talent with the world and get the right exposure from a highly engaged and interactive community.

The exclusive music campaign by TikTok is featuring some of the most widely known and talented celebrities in Pakistan including but not limited to Haroon Rashid, Bilal Khan, Falak Shabbir, Sahir Ali Bagga, Ali Gul Pir, Aashir Wajahat Rauf, Natasha Noorani, Hassan Ali and Ai Zafar.

Load shedding increases due to the electricity shortage has escalated across the country as the power shortfall has crossed 6,000MW.

The shortfall has intensified due to the suspension of hydro generation from Tarbela Dam owing to the presence of silt.

The suspension of power generation from the Tarbela Dam has caused massive power outages. Which also gripped Lahore and other parts of Punjab, said sources.

It was learnt that the power generation from Tarbela Dam will take two days.

The demand of Lahore Electric Power Supply Company (LESCO) has reached up to 5,000MW, while the supply is 4,000MW.

The duration of the load shedding has also increased across the country. And the masses are facing hard times in this hot season.

On Wednesday, the National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (NEPRA) took notice of prolonged power outages across the country.

K-Electric and other DISCOs were directed to ensure undisrupted power supply to the consumers.
