Sardar Latif Khosa, the leader of the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP), has formally joined Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) on Sunday “per the wish” of Imran Khan, the PTI’s founder and former prime minister.
He declared, “I have decided to speak out vehemently for the truth in addition to the interests of the nation and democracy.”
At a Lahore press conference, Sardar Khosa declared his intention to join the PTI and expressed optimism that the politics of hatred would end.
A nation’s constitution, according to Khosa, is supreme and possesses all the elements of a welfare state.
If we uphold the Constitution, the motherland can flourish. If the Constitution is applied in its true spirit, it contains a solution for every problem, the speaker stated.
He added that Muhammad Ali Jinnah completed the concept of Pakistan, which had proposed by Allama Muhammad Iqbal, a barrister.
“I have given PTI my whole attention. Khosa declared, “I am free to join a party of my choosing. I will not discuss what I gained or lost in the PPP.”
Political parties have not yet released their lists of candidates, one day after the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) declared the dates of the general elections.
The Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz PML-N, which is led by former prime ministers Nawaz and Shehbaz Sharif, will reportedly run for office from Lahore.
Another former prime minister, Shahid Khaqan Abbasi. Who was elected from Lahore despite being from Murree, has chosen not to run in the next elections.
Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani and Raja Pervaiz Ashraf. Two former prime ministers of the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP), will run from Multan and Gujar Khan, respectively. read more…..
