Salman Akram Raja and other protesters released, says Minister
After being briefly detained, PTI leader Salman Akram Raja and other “miscreants” were freed, Punjab Information Minister-in-waiting Amir Mir announced on Saturday.
The caretaker minister said that some miscreants. Including PTI leader Salman Akram Raja, attempted to take the law into their own hands in a post on the social media platform X. He said they had been held for a short while before being released.

“A few miscreants, including Salman Akram Raja, tried to block the roads. They have been released after being detained for trying to take the law into his hands,” Mir claimed.
PTI leader Barrister Salman Akram Raja. And more than fifteen other demonstrators were taken into custody in Lahore. Earlier in the day during a demonstration against alleged election tampering.
They were taken into custody while holding a protest in front of the PTI’s Jail Road headquarters in Lahore. Where party members and staff were yelling slogans.
