Lahore, 14 June: Intermediate and matriculation students across Punjab will sit their board tests from July 10 this year, as indicated by the common instruction office.

The timetable for the evaluations has been isolated into two stages. Here are the concluded dates:

Stage 1

Class 10 – July 29 to August 7

Class 12 – July 10 to July 19

Stage 2

Class 9 – August 29 (beginning)

Class 11 – August 13 (beginning)

School administrations have been told to guarantee Covid SOPs are followed during tests. Social separating and wearing mask is an absolute must.

Educational organizations across Punjab resumed on June 7 after the quantity of Covid diseases in the province dropped.

Recently, the Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education declared that tests in the nation will initiate from July 10.

Summer vacations in schools across Punjab will begin after exams, Provincial Education Minister Murad Raas said.

The government is introducing an app for parents which will help them access information on all schools and colleges in the province, Murad Raas told reporters in Lahore.

“During the pandemic, a lot of parents took their children out of schools because of financial constraints,” he said.

The government plan was to bring one million students to schools during the 2020-21 educational year, according to the minister.

Punjab Education Minister Murad Raas said “Summer vacations in schools across Punjab will begin after exams”.

“So far over 0.7 million students have been admitted in schools, of which 375,000 are girls,” he said.

The minister said the government will be digitizing the education department to prevent corruption. “Throughout our online portal, teachers will get promotions in the upcoming 90 days.”
