 Punjab Government Unveils Plans for First Public Cancer Hospital in Lahore

Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has revealed exciting plans to establish the province’s first government cancer hospital near Valencia Town in Lahore.

During her visit to the potential site for the hospital, the chief minister received a comprehensive briefing about the project. She also approved the construction of a dedicated hotel for the attendants of cancer patients.

Maryam Nawaz emphasized that the hospital would enlist the expertise of top cancer specialists from around the world. The government is committed to ensuring that the hospital is equipped with the latest medical technologies and staffed by highly skilled professionals to provide optimal care to cancer patients.

In addition to announcing the establishment of the cancer hospital, the chief minister disclosed plans to initiate disease screening programs across the province. She expressed her vision of having state-of-the-art hospitals in every city by the end of her tenure.

Furthermore, Maryam Nawaz announced that free medicines would be provided in all emergency departments of government hospitals starting today. Additionally, she instructed the Rescue 1122 service to launch a motorway ambulance service to enhance emergency response capabilities.
