 Punjab CM Maryam Nawaz Approves Tourist Glass Train Project

In a significant move to promote tourism in the region, Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif has given the green light to the tourist glass train project between Rawalpindi and Murree. The approval was granted during a meeting in Murree, aimed at beautifying the popular hill station.

International Consultants to Execute Project

The government will hire international consultants to execute the glass train project, which is expected to attract a large number of tourists. The project is part of a larger effort to develop and beautify Murree, which includes the removal of high-rise hotel buildings obstructing the natural scenery of Mall Road Rawalpindi.

Infrastructure Development

The construction and expansion of the old Rawalpindi-Murree-Kashmir Road have also been approved, along with the removal of hotels around the GPO chowk and the restoration of old buildings. These initiatives will not only enhance the beauty of the area but also improve the overall tourist experience.

Tourism Boost

The glass train project and infrastructure development are expected to significantly boost tourism in Rawalpindi and Murree, which attract hundreds of thousands of visitors every year. The initiatives will not only generate revenue but also create employment opportunities for the local population.
