PTI Chairman to Challenge PHC Verdict in SC Tomorrow

PESHAWAR – Barrister Gohar Ali Khan, the chairman of the PTI, declared on Thursday that the party would appeal the Peshawar High Court’s (PHC) decision to remove the bat symbol to the Supreme Court.

Speaking to the media on Wednesday, he said that the removal of the election symbol was questionable because the Supreme Court had previously declared that doing so would dissolve the PTI.

According to him, the ruling will set the stage for corruption and horse trading. “At all costs, we will not boycott the elections. In the event that the SC does not restore the bat symbol, each candidate will run separately in the election. This verdict will not accepted by the country. “I believe the verdict was announced too quickly,” he continued.

The PTI chairman said that the IMF programmes will suffer a loss if there will be no democracy in the country. He hoped that the SC will certainly resolve the issue.
