 Pakistan vs Bangladesh Test series schedule announced

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced the schedule for the men’s 2024-25 home international cricket season, with Bangladesh set to tour Pakistan for a two-Test series in August and September.

Tests in Rawalpindi and Karachi

The series will begin with the first international Test in Rawalpindi from August 21-25, followed by the second international Test in Karachi from August 30 to September 3. This will be Bangladesh’s first Test series in Pakistan since February 2020.

Bangladesh Cricket Board and Captain Look Forward to Challenge

Bangladesh Cricket Board Chief Executive Nizam Uddin Chowdhury thanked the PCB for confirming the schedule and expressed his team’s excitement for the series. Captain Najmul Hossain Shanto acknowledged the challenge but emphasized his team’s determination to compete against a strong Pakistani side.


  • 21-25 August: First Test, Rawalpindi
  • 30 August-3 September: Second Test, Karachi

This series is part of the ICC World Test Championship, and both teams will be eager to perform well and gain valuable points.
