Pakistan eye series win against England in T20 final
LONDON, 20 July: Pakistan have to fight back to take the T20 final series from England when both teams meet tonight at Old Trafford, Manchester to play the third and final match.
With a 1-1 scenario, both teams will lock horns tomorrow in the third T20 final which will decide who will take up the cup. Surely, a pressure situation for Pakistan team management, under which Green Shirts had a home T20I series defeat against Sri Lanka, poor New Zealand, and Australia tours, lost an ODI and T20I to B South African team, and a T20I loss against lower-ranked Zimbabwe.
The current tour had started with a 3-0 defeat in ODIs for Pakistan against a second-strength England side. But, the Green Shirts bounced back with a convincing victory over the hosts in the first T20I.
They recorded the highest team total in T20Is which gave their fans hope to see the trophy coming home. But, the team lost track in the second contest and lost by 45 runs.
All eyes are on Pakistan team management how they come up in the last game tomorrow.
