The Bridal Couture Week in Lahore, Pakistan, culminated in a spectacular grand finale on Sunday night, leaving an indelible mark on the fashion landscape. Held at Hotel Pearl Continental over three days (December 15-17), the event showcased the epitome of bridal couture, featuring leading designers who brought their A-game to the runway.

The final day was a breathtaking fusion of tradition and modernity, with each piece celebrating the art of bridal fashion. Designer Ali Xeeshan opened the show with festive fanfare, and the runway was graced by showstoppers Ushna Shah, Nausheen Shah, Usman Mukhtar, and Naina Black.

Joonam by Aneeka Ruknuddin was an ode to the Nawabs of Loharu. The collection transcended time, blending the grandeur of Ruknuddin’s heritage with contemporary sophistication. Each piece was a celebration of traditional craftsmanship and artisanal techniques, combining breathtaking age-old dabka, tilla, and hand-worked resham on modern silhouettes. Ayesha Omar was the show-stopper for this collection.

In addition, Humayun Alamgir’s show featured Chocolate Hero Junaid Niazi, Azeekah Daniel, Hamza Malik, Hammad Sohaib, and Nazish Jahangir. Meanwhile, Musferah Saad’s collection, “The Modern Maharani,” embodied the spirit of a queen for the contemporary bride. Each piece was a celebration of intricate handwork, delicately woven with love and precision. Sarah and Falak Shabir walked for Saad.

Souch Aaj by Mehak Junaid’s ‘Runak Jhunak’ collection blended vibrant colors with traditional sucha haath ka kaam, while Nina & Nickie Nina’s collection drew inspiration from an era where the British Raj intersected with the Mughal Raj, yielding an exquisite fusion of classic opulence and contemporary allure. Sabeena Farooq and Nadia Jamil, Nuscie Jamil, Vaneeza Ahmad, and Fozia Amman were the show-stoppers for these collections, respectively.

In addition, Munib Nawaz, known for its global presence and celebrity clientele, showcased its latest collection, with Kubra Khan and Gohar as the show-stoppers. Furthermore, HSY concluded the event with a solo show titled ‘The Journey.’ The collection took the audience on a voyage of four different destinations, celebrating various cultures with unique aesthetics and moods. Reema was the show-stopper for HSY.
