50 rickshaws and 15 motorcycles were reduced to ashes when a fire broke out

ISLAMABAD(KARACHI), 16 July: At least 50 rickshaws and 15 motorcycles were reduced to ashes when a fire broke out in a parking lot in Karachi’s Korangi neighbhourhood in wee hours of Friday.

According to police, 50 rickshaws and 15 motorcycles were completely damaged when a blaze erupted in a parking area of a building in Zaman Town’s Sector 50-C.

It is unclear how did the fire start.

Rescue teams arrived on that spot. The police said the blaze has been put out and an investigation launched to determine the cause of the fire.

Police on Thursday foiled a bank robbery attempt in Karachi’s Korangi. As per details, four robbers entered a private bank and made the staff hostage at the gunpoint, and started collecting the cash. The bank staff by pressing the alarm informed the police about the emergency.
