ISLAMABAD(UPPER KOHISTAN), 14 July: Ten people were killed and over 39 injured Wednesday when a vehicle blew up in a blast near a labour camp Kohistan.
The vehicle was transporting staff that has been working on building the Dasu Dam, as per reports, adding that two FC personnel and four foreigners also lost their lives in the incident.
Bodies and the injured have been shifted to the Rural Health Centre Dasu.
Deputy Commissioner(DC) Mohammad Arif said an investigation is being conducted to ascertain the intensity of the blast and know more about it.
At least 29 people sustained serious injuries in the pile-up of three vehicles in Jhelum on Tuesday.
According to details, the incident took place near Lilla Interchange in Jheulm, where three vehicles collided with each other, said Rescue 1122. The incident occurred when a Mazda loaded with labourer collided with a parked vehicle and a passenger bus. The injured were moved to a nearby hospital.
